How to Apply:
- One-Time Registration (OTR):
Candidates wishing to apply in response to this Notice and who have not yet completed their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new Commission website (https://ssc.gov.in) must do so, as registrations from the previous website (https://ssc.nic.in) will no longer be valid. After completing the OTR on the new site, candidates can proceed to fill out their application for the examination. Once generated, the OTR will remain valid for all future applications on the new website.
- Application Submission:
For comprehensive instructions, refer to Annexure-III and Annexure-IV of this Notice. Sample formats for the One-Time Registration and online Application Form are provided in Annexure-IIIA and Annexure-IVA, respectively. - Photograph Requirements:
Candidates are not required to upload a pre-existing photograph. The application system is designed to capture a live photograph of the applicant during the form-filling process. When prompted, candidates should:- Choose plain background.
- Position themselves directly in front of the camera and look straight ahead.
- Make sure their face is fully within the red rectangular frame on the screen, without being too close or too far from the camera.
- Avoid wearing caps, masks, glasses/spectacles, or earphones/headphones during the photo capture.
- Photograph Guidelines:
The appearance of the candidate in the examination must match the photograph submitted with the application. Ensure that the photograph is clear, taken without a cap or spectacles, and shows a full frontal view. Applications with photographs that do not adhere to these guidelines may be rejected. Do not use pre-existing photographs; applications with such images will be disqualified. - Verification of Photograph:
Applications with non-compliant photographs or those captured in an incorrect format will be rejected or canceled. - Signature Upload:
Upload a scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format, with a file size between 10 to 20 KB. The dimensions should be approximately 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height). Applications with blurred or incorrectly sized signatures will be rejected. - Final Review:
Before finalizing the online application, use the Preview/Print option to ensure all details are correct and that the photograph and signature meet the requirements.
